WBC put Bellew in charge of new division

    Why did the WBC have to drag Anthony into this?? He never asked for any of this. He just wants to be left alone.

    Just leave him alone

    I wish the WBC would just leave boxing alone at this point.

    The idea is pants BTW. Makes more sense to up the cruiserweight limit to 210 odd and make a division to bridge the already massive gap between light heavy and cruiserweight

    I think the best solution is to keep the weight divisions as they are but consider creating a Super Heavyweight division which starts from 240lb+.

    But that's only if they are totally intent on creating another weight class. I think it's fine as it is, we've seen plenty of SHWs get smoked by small HWs.

    I think they should just leave Tony Bellew alone. He did not ask for this.

    Why Bellew? Hang on, So I'm assuming Bellew will get first crack at this new title, make history, he keeps flirting with a comeback.

    Wow, this is depressing, Haye Vs Bellew III, £19.95, Sky Sports, because.. it's Bellew, Haye, Hearn, the WBC and Sky Sports, so what do you expect?

    Uh, uh. Haye is going to be Usyk's first defense after he wins the vacant WBO belt from Joseph Parker. Then on to Andre Ward, Andy Ruiz, and undefeated retirement.

    This is the only thing to do. I would leave cruiser where it is and put a division in at around 188lbs. Between light heavy and cruiser.
    There’s so many fighters that are inbetween this weight class.

    Bellew changed his number and went home to his wife and kids, for some peace and quiet. He is a private man who hates the limelight.

    Why is the WBC dragging Tony from his home and away from his wife and kids?

    I am sure Tony had a difficulty in accepting this position as it involves appearing in front of the camera and doing more interviews on TV.
