Here basically what Suleiman is saying is that Canelo fights Trout, Canelo will be stripped of his belt because they can't do unification :patsch

It was a **** fight anyways! But damn! That Suleiman is really a ****! I wonder if GBP does go with the fight and Canelo gets stripped who will the WBC give the belt to?

Canello should can the belt then, take his sanctioning fees (which going by %'s, his should be high compared to some) else where.

    That **** is ridiculous though.

there's already 4 Champs per division, at 17 divisions that's a possible 68 World Champs (add in The Ring, and you've got 85!). Bring in all the Super Duper Belts and ****, and who knows....

In some bizarre reality that they strip Canelo (won't happen because this is just cover to keep him from fighting Trout anyhow over the VADA testing) they will let Chavez Jr. fight for the 154 pound title at 174 pound catch weight.

How could the WBC even try to claim they don't allow unification when Ward is the unified WBC/WBA champ at 168?

Suliaman is just threatening to strip Alvarez just so GB has an excuse for Alvarez not to fight Trout. In fact he was probably requested by Schaffer to say that, given that Trout's manager is Haymon.

Trouts belt isn't a proper belt though is it? Have u ever heard of a unification with the Continental Americas title? He will find it hard to find fights in the future even in the rigo fight he didn't look special where he won the regular LMW belt.

You'd think that the WBC would encourage fights like this but they seem to have some other motive.

quintana is also being mentioned. 140-pound maidaina, too.

they'll probably give freitas the nod proclaiming better recent competition.
