Meldonium is not a "notorious performance ehancing drug" that's why he took so long to be banned. Tests have not conclusively linked the drug to performance enhancement.

It was created in Latvia in the 1970's, and has never been banned until recently because the evidence is not conclusive. What a coincidence that they ban that drug widely used by Russian athletes soon after Russia started threatening American foreign policy, and right after Russia annexed the Crimea from the Ukraine.

Povetkin and more the case the Russian sports federation have ruined Povetkins career. They are the ones that are really **** at hiding drugs in thier sports stars and i do wonder just how much say he had in the matter. No doubt team Wilder and the WBC were over the moon and the WBC jumped on the positive tests with eagerness, eager to have that belt based in America, seems to be what the WBC focus on. But they jumped on those tests if they wernt there to be jumped on that fight would of took place.

Its notorious since a a large amount of top athletes have tested positive with the stuff in their system.
Its scientifically proven to increase one's exercise capacity thus artificially enhancing their performance. It was never approved anywhere outside the Easten bloc.
Povetkin follows the rules and regulations of worldwide doping associations since he competes on world level.. He knew exactly what he was doing and now he is paying the price for it.

Povetkin was never mentioned in the WADA list compiled by Former Russian sports doctor Grigory Rodchenkov and supported by Canadian lawyer McLaren of having benefited from Drug test coverups by RUSADA via money/corruption/bribery. This had nothing to do with RUSADA, Or Putin, this was Povetkins OWN fault. Also RUSADA lost its license, and is now defunct unless the WADA give it back its accreditation.

 

I find that unlikely but if it's true then it shows just how toothless America has become.

Most disgusting thing I have seen in a long time. His tests for meldonium and MK2886(Osterine) were both considered trace amounts and NOT over legal limits so he technically did not even fail one drug test.

Western based sanctioning organizations in bed with Western based drug testing agencies protecting Western fighters by collusion yet it gets largely ignored because it fits Western nations social constructs.

Just look at how GGG was taking VADA continuously for the past two years but Jacobs only signed up a month before their fight and was only tested once. Worst thing is when you bring up these facts they call you names and say you have racial motives.

 

That Povetkin Wilder fight was never EVER gonna happen. They didn't want the gravy train coming to a halt.

Povetkin was set up, guilty or not. I say guilty or not because probably all of them are on PEDs but powerful people pick and choose who to expose and when. It was blatantly obvious it was gonna happen.
