WBC says Sergio Thompson is not the mandatory for Antonio DeMarco

    while the fight was a title eliminator, WBC president Jose Sulaiman says that it was not a "final eliminator" and because he was ranked 16th he cannot just jump to #1.


    in other words the WBC are scumbags.

    That's pretty shitty for Thompson. If he had no chance of getting a title shot, then why the hell did they put him in a title eliminator!
