The undisputed champion is by definition the man that holds all “major belts in existence”.

To become a “major” belt you have to be recognised by the other “major” sanctioning bodies. The WBF or the UBO or the IBO are not recognised as “major” by the other sanctioning bodies. Therefore the winner of a fight between Fury and AJ would be the undisputed champion.

If you want to define it as every belt in exsistence thats up to you.

I wouldn't say it means nothing but it's almost impossible for there to be an undisputed champion now when there are so many belts.

In fact, I doubt we will ever see another undisputed champion in any weight category.

    No.

    Undisputed means 'not disputed'.

That is the definition of the word.

Like unsuccessful means 'not successful' and unhappy means 'not happy'.

Why is that so difficult for you to understand?

It isn't a word that somehow magically has a different meaning in boxing.

This is not a matter of opinion.

If you want to join a lot of other boxing fans and somehow misunderstand an incredibly clear and straightforward definition then that's up to you.

But you will be wrong to do so.

Exactly. A champion who is undisputed is not disputed among the major governing bodies. You can literally google “what is the meaning of an undisputed champion”. The major governing bodies are like a club that only lets in other members, like the IBF in 1983 and the WBO in 2007 only if they recognise them. Therefore a man who is the champion of all 4 governing bodies is undisputed among them. Simple

The word undisputed does not have a different meaning in boxing.

Making up an incorrect definition to fit the promotion and hype within the sport does not make it correct. It just creates a misconception.

    UNDISPUTED MEANS NOT DISPUTED.

IF ANOTHER ORGANISATION RECOGNISES SOMEONE ELSE AS THE CHAMPION THEN THERE IS A DISPUTE AS TO WHO IS THE CHAMPION.

    IT

    IS

    THAT

    SIMPLE.

    Dear, oh dear, oh dear...

    Unsatisfactory means 'not satisfactory'.

    Unsuccessful means 'not successful'.

    Unsurprising means 'not surprising'.

    Unhappy means 'not happy'.

    Unprepared means 'not prepared'.

    Unconcerned means 'not concerned'.

    Unperturbed means 'not perturbed'.

    Untested means 'not tested.'

    Unresponsive means 'not responsive.'

    Unresolved means 'not resolved.'

    Unsure means 'not sure.'

    Unhealthy means 'not healthy.'

I'm not spending any more time trying to explain that undisputed means 'not disputed.'

I think you must be a troll who's doing this on purpose because I don't believe anyone can be this stupid.

I don't feed trolls, I just block them and that's exactly what I'm going to do here.

Lol look at you getting all emotional. I’ll spell it out for you.

    - Undisputed means not disputed.

    - The major governing bodies in boxing have 4 members.

    - If a man holds 4/4 of the members titles he is therefore not disputed among the members

What are you not getting here??

Yes, he should get his shot. A pissed off Wilder obliterates this glorified heavybag in 1 round. An aggressive Fury batters him around the ring for 5 rounds, he wouldn't even need to box his ears off.
