    It's not interesting because we all know Floyd will just fight whoever he wants to fight, and it's always a slow plodder coming off a decent win.

    I'd be more interested if I understood what Dsg meant.

    I'm interested, but the stipulation that this will be to fight Floyd doesn't make sense. The guy is probably gonna retire after the Showtime contract is up. He needs to take on tough challenges now. I would be interested in seeing who becomes the next top champion though.

    The WBC must be assuming that Floyd and pac will both retire after facing each other because there's no way either of them stay around and face the winner of this thing.

    It sets up a good new fighter to carry the ppv crown.

    I don't see the point in this, since Floyd will be retired by the time the tournament is over.

    I'd like to see a WW Super Six to determine the man in the division when Floyd and Manny retire.

    It's not about mayweather honestly... Even though the winner is promised a shot at mayweather.


    If mayweather vacates or retires which is highly likely. The winner will get the belt. To me this tourny is about creating a star at 147 and less about finding an opponent for Floyd.

    Ward and Froch couldn't get to 160, and if they could, Golovkin wouldn't be running. Ward would be the best fight in recent history, but Froch would be totally dominated by a guy that is naturally gifted and able to do things he has never seen or experienced. Ward vs. GGG is the best fight to be made right now, but it should happen at 168.

    BTW: your post count to vCash ratio is trash, you should talk less and listen more, or tell your mom to find you a dad that can teach you something about man sports.
