I don't think what Cotto is doing is a blatant duck or being disgraceful, It's just a reflection of how things work in boxing these days. And another beating like he suffered vs Margarito might damage his health bad at this point of his career not to mention GGG is bigger, stronger and more skilled than Margo. We're pretty much on the same page on that one.

But answer honestly now, after witnessing the last four years, can you blame anyone for not making future plans depending on Ward?

This is huge news. Now, Golovkin only has to get 1 belt until he is the undisputed champ.

With Cotto and Canelo running for the hills from Golovkin, exposing their cowardice, I think we can expect a Golovkin and Tureano Johnson matchup early this spring... unless Canelo feels the pressure from media/fans to fight GGG which I now highly doubt.

Did I misread? I only looked quickly?

But I was under the impression Canelo can still win the belt if he beats Cotto? No?

    :huh

Yep you read correctly, she jumped the gun a bit, does this not seem like a complete win-win situation for WBC? The way they arranged it?

And that would be a mistake.

The firemen would extinguish Canelo's firey red hair!

OK, and yes. Beyond that, I'm more convinced than ever that any remotely close fight that winds up going to the cards will go in Canelo's favor. Cotto may now need a KO or a clear-cut lopsided points win to have any chance at all.

Joke aside, the very thought of that fight is really disgusting.

As a middleweight title fight it would be horrific. But it would be more competitive than Bradley-Golovkin.
