WBC Suspends and Demands a public apology from Adrien Broner

point being the WBC cant suspend anyone, thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard.

 

Broner's an arse no doubt. But I see nothing racist about what he said. I mean how many times has Mayweather described Pacquiao as the "yellow midget"? And didn't they let a convicted ****** fight for one of their titles? Absolute hypocrites.

 

Ali called Frazier an uncle tom and nothing was done. This was nothing compared to what others have said. This is boxing stop being such a wuss

I think it's about time that the boxing organizations put their foot down like this. It's tricky because a lot of these "antics" help sell fights and boxers aren't exactly "goodie-two-shoes" when it comes to out of the ring behavior. But in this day in age with the whole Sterling controversy fresh in people's minds....athletes need to realize when they are speaking in public forums, they need to watch what they say.

You realize Mayweather didn't say anything bad about Sterling. He knows that video of him being racially insensitive towards asians and Pacquiao in particular is still floating out there on youtube somewhere for media to dig back up.

I honestly don't see what the big deal is....he was just saying he beat up a Mexican....right before that he said he beat up Africans...I don't get it....it's not like when Floyd posted that infamous USTREAM rant where he actually used racial slurs. This is someone looking to make an example out of Broner. He made himself a target not just by being a moron but by losing.
