WBC threat to strip belt from Alexander for wanting Bradley fight

The only conclusion that I can come up with is the WBC president doesn't like to do business with the WBO. The exact same thing was done to Bradley. When he unified the two titles they stripped him. Something should be done about this. These are real fighters that we are dealing with here and like Bradley, I don't think Alexander would have a problem with ditching that belt. He has another one anyway, just like Bradley. Leather around their waist or not, these two fighters will always be champions in my book.

 

The WBC and WBA belts have been unified at MW for 6 years.

He clearly meant the WBO. Seeing as Kelly Pavlik is the WBC and WBO champion and both belts have been held by the same man since Hopkins beat De La Hoya.
