Fres Oquendo is actually in training camp now, very good chance he signs up with TMT, he should make it official that he moved to Tigerweight as TMT main charge in the division.
Fres Oquendo can give himself a title shot at the new WBA Tigerweight belt, once Fres Oquendo finishes acquiring the WBA (Floyd Mayweather shoulder-tapped Alan Dershowitz to make his schedule free to take care of the WBA problem). Technically Floyd Mayweather will end-up co-owning the WBA, Fres Oquendo will be the pre-text.
Can't wait to see the WBA adopt it, so we can get some exciting WBA Regular and Interim Super Cruiserweight matches
The word Super needs to really go out of all divisions, especially anything the WBA lists and has "Super" champions for. Hopefully Fres Oquendo improves the WBA when he takes over operations.
Something haze to be done about these organisations the last thing we needed was another weight division
I'm hoping the Tigerweight finally brings an end to all the cheetahs that have plagued boxing in recent years.
Sir why would you oppose a new weight class? Do you want boxing to grow rejuvenating older boxer and bringing new youth (an already thinner demographic minority, that we have to compete over). Attract them and the level of competition will naturally increase as they come in. Let the governing bodies add as much weight classes as possible, the new weight classes will eliminate the multiple belts, so any decent boxer will pick his best weight class and try to win the real title instead of settling for a no-title shot vassal belt.
Without giving it much analysis, that's a good list. Some of those fighters are near the borderline, either big "Tigers" or smallish HWs. Pov is a good example of that.
