WBC calls for immediate change in amateur boxing

    By Gabriel F. Cordero

The WBC has called on the AIBA to immediately change their system of simply counting blows to decide amateur fights because “that’s not boxing” and undermines the different styles in the sport.”It is not possible for a boxing match to be won by 7 to 3 when hundreds blows connect and don’t count for anything,” said the WBC in a press statement.

The WBC also protests the decision of Ireland’s John Joe Nevin over Mexican Oscar Valdez in the 2012 London Olympics saying that Valdez dropped Nevin with a hook to the liver and battered him from pillar to post only to lose the round 7-4. They say the Mexican Federation should have made a strong protest as did the U.S. and three other countries who had boxing results later changed on the desktop.

    :rofl:rofl

You can tell Jose Sulaiman's mouth has been around more cocks than any mouth in history. And his vagina, let's not even talk about his vagina.

Talk about the blind leaving the blind. And what a surprise, the only 'robbery' they cite is of a Mexican. There have been far, far worse decisions in this Olympics.

**** Jose Sulaiman (but **** AIBA too).

that's strange, coming from an organisation that's ruining boxing (example: banning unification fights)

^ Agreed. And Nevin won the fight, picking that fight out above others whcih were much closer shows that he has a biased agenda.
