another one of those great decisions coming from the WBC. ****ing crooks. isn't there a rule that a fighter who has won a championship has a full year to defend a title against a mandatory before the title could be stripped from him? why is the wbc asking pac to pay $30k within 15 days and $100k for his match with odlh?

i really don't understand this anymore. if i were pac, i'll give nothing to them. that title isnt worth jack **** and i also think that he will have a very tough time going down to 135 again after he fights at 147.

    in conclusion, WBC=crooks

I don't think Marquez is even ranked in WBC lightweight :think

The WBC mandates two defenses per year; one voluntary and one mando. If Pac doesn't want to abide by these rules, he needs to pay up or give up his title. He knew what his duties were when he got that belt, he needs to live up to the responsibilites of a WBC champ.

still, he has six months to defend it twice before it could be stipped from him. he won it just of this year and he has until june of next year. to defend it twice right? so why are they asking for money now? and why are they asking for additional money for the odlh fight?

Pac has already set a precedent for not caring what the sanctioning bodies want to do.

    He just fights.

Once he wins the title, he assumes the defense obligations of the former champ. It's possible that Diaz' defense obligation would be coming up soon.

I think the WBC are crooks and usually don't agree with their policies, but since it's Manny they're taxing this time, I'll make an exception!

Bless these guys! I didn't realize they still had kindness in their hearts!

Let Valero Pick them up then snatch it away again by beating him up in 3 rounds then throw the belt to the bin again!

Pac gave the $30K to David Diaz to buy himself a decent car.
