Can't speak for Lewis, but Lance was never undetectable. That's not how he cheated the system. What he figured out was paying the sanctioning body off by donating large sums of money. This allowed him advanced notice of test dates, getting TUE's, and all sorts of trickery. Watch the film on him, you'll see they regularly knew when testers were coming so the whole team would be busy prepping by doing mass IV injections minutes before testers arrived.

Does that sound like any boxer you know of?

Looks like the Wilder protection plan has been finalized. THEY kicked Povetkin out of the sport while Luis Ortiz tested positive twice for much higher amount of an actual AAS and he is the darling of the HW division, basking in everyone's good graces.

Well, the other sanctioning bodies all dropped him when he tested positive in May last year. So I doubt they'll include him back into their ratings after he tested positive TWO FIGHTS IN A ROW and is banned by the WBC.

When the WBC removes him from their ratings, he won't be rated by anyone.

"According to famous boxer Denis Lebedev, the results of Povetkin's "B" doping sample do not establish the athlete's guilt. "I'm sure he had not taken anything. To be honest, I was sure in my heart that it would happen, because if his ill-wishers could make make his first test positive, then the "B" sample would definitely be dirty," said Lebedev."

I'm not saying that I agree, or that this is true, but it's interesting that fighters from this area feel this way.

"One always has to understand that meldonium was a legal drug, but then, all of a sudden, it was declared a prohibited one. Athletes may not know that they may take a recovery substance. Athletes may believe that everything is fine, but then they can be accused of using doping drugs. They may declare ascorbic drug illegal tomorrow, and the whole world will be pointing finger at you," Olympic champion and State Duma deputy, Svetlana Zhurova told Pravda.Ru.

Povetkin failed doping tests before ALL his scheduled fights last year.

Whatever combination or c0cktail of drugs he was using really gave the former chubby boxer a boost these last few years since it looked like his career was winding down after his performance against Marco Huck.

But that combination of drugs has basically ended his career on the championship level, too, like it's done to other athletes in other sports who got caught when they were experiencing career resurgences.

Keep in mind, changing exercise routines has drastically changed his body as well. This is exactly what Francois Botha did after the Tyson fight.

Going from a lazy training style to implementing genuine cross training can quickly change a body, and I can personally attest to this. If you watch videos of Povetkin training he began using a nutritionist, weight lifting, swimming, etc.

Cross training doesn't cause you to fail your prefight drug tests from one scheduled fight to the next.

This is only significant if the IBF WBO and WBA follow suit. If not he can obviously pursue other belts.

If they do then Povetkin is screwed as no real up and comer will fight him as it wouldnt benefit them in the ranks

He could lure guys out of contention with big money fights but thats it

So it's Lebedev's contention that "ill wishers" caused Povetkin's B-sample to come back dirty? In other words, he blames it on Voodoo?

I think you can go ahead and say that's not true. I'm 100 percent certain "ill wishers" or people "thinking bad thoughts" or "wishing the worst" or "casting spells" weren't behind the second positive.

They all followed suit when he tested positive last May. They all removed him then. The only reason he remained in the WBC ratings is he sued the WBC.
