A good example, have you read the Thomas Hauser article about Al Haymon? In page 5, about 3/4ths down the page he talks about how Haymon tried to pay off Povetkin to fight Charles Martin instead of Wilder, and then tried to coax the WBC to allow Wilder to fight another bum instead, and then finally tried to pay off Povetkin to just go in a different route entirely. bahaha what a joke. It was only the threat of losing his belt, did Wilder give in and take the fight. What a ****ing joke. Then, he talks all of that **** in interviews?! Come on Deontay, give me a f**king break.

He's literally standing in the ring calling out fighters, then in interviews being even more boisterous, and then in private his team, manager, and himself are trying to buy out decent competition from fighting him and trying to coax sanctioning bodies to allow him to continue fighting no hopers. Come on. I rarely speak negatively about boxers, but this just begs for criticism.

 

The meldonium and ostarine will only provide beneficial qualities if continuously ingested, and the meldonium was only found in extremely trace amounts and explained as clearly the result of heavy training and being exerted from his muscles as a result of it being banned shortly before. It says Haymon tried to make a unification fight with Martin. Nothing wrong with that. Unification usually takes precedence over mandatory's and wining the IBF would have forced him to face Joshua.
Thats why he tried to pay Povetkin step aside money. This is nothing new in the sport. Its been happening for decades.

None of this is a slight on Wilder. All it proves is that the WBC had no interest in protecting him so all this conspiracy talk against Povetkin is just a load of baloney. If the WBC wanted to protect somebody it would be Canelo , from Golokvin.

I would doubt he gets two years since the first investigation was dropped. I would think 1 year for the sarm.

There should be extensive repercussions for poppin dirty like PEDvetkin, twice in one year. A 2 year ban would be getting off light. What was the point of delaying the B sample test anyways. Time to move on cause I'm sure everybody is tired of this sad routine.

 

Basically this means Wilder gets to avoid a live body and Povetkin will continue his career without the WBC.

 

I do wonder how this will affect the other belts. I'm sure others know this history. Dillian Whyte got a 2 year ban in the UK, since he fights in the UK, had to serve that ban with no fights. Ortiz got 8 months and did those 8 months. I suppose they don't fight if the fights don't count.

 

No, that isn't what I wrote, or what was told to Hauser by insiders from the Wilder camp, Povetkin camp, and WBC. What WAS said was that Haymon tried to persuade povetkin to fight Charles instead of Wilder, then persuade the WBC to allow Wilder to fight bums instead of fighting Povetkin, and finally tried to persuade Povetkin to accept money and not peruse Wilder. It's complete cowardice and there's no way around this fact.

 

FFS just let everyone use them then they are all on an equal footing.

Francisco Vargas tested positive for clenbuterol few weeks before the Salido fight yet he could still fight for the WBC title and didn't get banned at all, because WBC said "Vargas just ate tainted meat doe, nothing to see here". Povetkin blamed the dirty test on tainted meat as well, yet We Be Crooks don't care about the tainted meat excuse this time and ban him for 2 years. And there are still morons on this forum who claim that European fighters are the privileged ones.
