Oh dang this is the guy in charge of some WBC weigh ins http://www. livefight .com/news.php?news_id=170&y=2007&m=07
That's nice of them, but ... $140 a month? They take 10's of 1000's of dollars from fighters for every sanctioned title fight. That's quite a lot for a "non-profit" organization don't you think? :think
I am surprised kelly didnt tell that guy to go **** himself. Kelly seems like the type who could give 2 shits about any organization. What did they ever do for him? he knocks people out, he dont need no paid judges or influence.
I don't think it's true...why would the WBC care about Pavlicks who happens to be the worst boxers alive.
1) He happens to be one of their champions 2) "... Craig Hamilton (the foremost boxing memorabilia dealer in the United States) estimates that Pavliks trunks from his championship-winning fight could be worth as much as $25,000...."
no,have a **** and **** in them and send them to sulaiman to present to his father because of your respect for his father and the WBC:good
I ponder how some dont see this as a big deal... IF true, which i have no way of knowing if it is or not.... a powerful figurehead tried, and DID use his power (to make things hard on the champion) to get what he wanted. IMO they are all ****ing crooks and their eradication cant come soon enough... though i know it will never happen. Just the Ring for me...
Thomas Hauser is one of the most respected journalists in the sport. He doesn't really do "sensational" stories for the sake of it and this story was just tacked to the end of his article about the fight, so I have no doubt it's true. If it was made up they would have made more out of it, but it doensn't even have it's own headline. http://www.secondsout.com/usa/colhauser.cfm?ccs=208&cs=22919
