I have also read about this, it would be great but I do think it will take sometime to come to fruition.

I would be amazed if it happened. Too many greedy people with big egos in the way.

Probably not. They are no longer credible world title governing bodies. They are rip-off merchants. WBC, WBA, IBF is the name $$$$$$$$$ is the game.

Most definetly this ^^^ , it's all about making money , the scum who have run the sport have made a mockery of it for years on their watch . This is just paying lip service to the gullible .

It isn't just the organisations either. It's the big name promoters too. Don King for one has a lot to answer for and many others have since been equally criminal in the way they have conducted themselves.

Spot on the German promotors and the likes of Frank etc here in the UK with the WBO etc , blokes waking around calling themselves world champs when they aren't even European champion standard fighters . It's a ****ty affair indeed .

I think it will happen because there is no emphasis on belts anymore. This just shows that all organisations have recognised this.
Money is boss in this business.

But this would be a welcome shift. Because whoever has that one belt - would be in a better financial position. So it is a compromise, I think it could happen to some extent.

I tend to agree with this, Manny and PBF are showing everyone belts mean nothing but these are the two biggest guys in the division.

On a serious note, when a bloke like Sam Soliman with 12 losses can hold a trinket at middleweight it's screaming out that the industry needs a shake up
