WBC Welterweight tournament semi-finals will be on august 25th in Toronto

Can you please put scrubs in front of that cause that’s not the real welter tourney cause if it was it would be: Spence, Garcia, Porter, Thurman, Crawford, Khan, Vargas, Pacquaio. If you sub out Manny then Peterson/Alexander <—- that’s a welterweight tourney

 

I think Van Heerdan wins everything and Solomon makes the final.

 

Since they're fighting to be the top contender for a belt, that takes out Pac, Spence, and Crawford.

Van Heerdan and Solomon aren't really worse than Alexander, Peterson, and Vargas at this point. Pac might be finished and Khan doesn't fight anymore.

 

Saw the first round of the tournament in Louisville and it was so danny boring I had to leave before the final fight. Hopefully this round is more entertaining

 

Vargas isn’t bad, he should have beat AB I’m not sure what happened that fight. Also I guess the point I was making is no one cares about a **** tourney of welters when we can’t even get the guys who matter to face each other it’s been like pulling teeth outside of Porter.

 

You're being a negative nancy. Van Heerdan and Solomon are bordering on being top ten and should fight each other. The winner will solidly be a top 10 welter.

Brad Solomon is 28-1 and the loss was SD, 3x Golden Gloves

Van Heerdan gave Spence one of his toughest fights and lost one other fight by SD earlier in his career.

Thurman would have some problems with either.

Spence and Crawford wouldn’t have too many problems with many fighters other than each other.
