If khan happens to pull of the miracle or it turns out to be a close fight worthy of a rematch, GGG will have to bendover once again. I'm sure Khan can bring out Floyd for a catchweight title fight. And the WBC would tell Canelo to take it up the :good once again. K2 should of never let Cotto get away with the bull****! I foresee a lot of bending over in GGG's future If Canelo wins, Golden boy will demand their fighter Tureano get his Ibf title shot before fighting Canelo. GGG doesn't leave 2016 with both IBF and WBC belts in his possession
bending would be ggg going down to 155 so far he is sticking to his guns 160 or canelo gets stripped.
WBC should cease to exist as a major governing body. It's not only middleweight they are messing up. It's the same in every division. Look at Wilder's, Stevenson's opponents. Boxing would be better off without WBC. IBO or EBU could've replaced it.
The WBC MW title has been dragged down to welter weight. Only Tripple Gina is chasing that worthless belt. No other MWs would reduce themselves to such lows. Buts that's the K2 mantra.
it really is sad dino...i keep telling these guys ggg needs to give up pursuit of it....he doesnt need it...one guy goes "everyone knows that ggg is the real mw champ of the world"...and i said "i know yer right"....so stop chasing it or try to make the fight with canelo on his terms....very simple.....but he doesnt need that belt for anything...its not going to magically make his career or resume any better
That's just plain wrong. Every MW in the world wants that WBC strap now it's round Canelo's waist. Problem is that gives Canelo many many options and he just doesn't need GGG - nor for that matter does he really need the strap. If Golovkin can't land a fight for the WBC title this year (which he prolly won't IMO) K2 need to smell the coffee. And K2 better hope Haymon's willing to put in someone a bit better than Wade in with GGG, cos if Uncle Al decides to play hardball the future looks bleak for GGG at either '60 or '68.
