Well Sulaiman did also say WBC would allow AJ to get a shot at the May 18 winner .... so I'm speculating that he's merely getting in his "me too" sooner-rather-than-later since IBF has been vocal for a while now about their Hrgovic mandatory. You can't keep a good alphabet soup down.....

More bull**** from the alphabet belts. They’ll never let an undisputed HW champion to persist. Instead they come up with these useless mandatories.

The fans have to stop recognizing these organizations. They are determined to destroy boxing.

Interesting eliminator, finally get to see Sanchez fight someone a little proven in Kabayel. Should be competitive.

Kind of surprised the WBC did this, they all too often go years and years without enforcing a mandatory. Whyte was Fury's last mandatory almost 2 years ago, so it's already overdue.

Also no guarantee after this happens the WBC mandates the mandatory immediately, took Whyte a year to get his mandatory shot after beating Povetkin in his eliminator, so say this happens in the summer it probably won't be until summer 2025 until WBC mandates it.

The winner needs to just toss all these belts in the trash after they are unified. In fact its what Lewis should of done too

After Fury, I think Usyk retires anyway. So it's a moot point really.

It’s a good fight but we all know what’s going on here. The sanctioning bodies will break the belts up once again and create a bunch of mediocre champions, bringing us back to square one of having the same problem.

It’s funny that this is happening when the WBC let Fury fight Chisora a third time and Ngannou, and the sanctioning bodies at 168 are happy to allow Canelo to fight a 40 year old middleweight and a super welterweight instead of facing a top contender in that weight class. It’s a joke.

Great to see kabayel finally getting his opportunities.

Wonder which version turns up though.

I don't think he will as hell want to prove a point.
