Round 2

Ake puts together a long combination, just whipping power shots up at Gonzalez's head. As before, Gonzalez moves like a streamer in the breeze and masks the effectiveness (or lack thereof) of Ake's work. Gonzalez now starts to drive forward with right hands, and then covers up to turn his shoulder out as he gets hooked in the face. Gonzalez is getting in rhythm now, landing the lead right well while taking much of Ake's offense on his turned-in left bicep while rolling his shoulder around. Uppercut by Gonzalez while hopping back out of the pocket. Hook up top by Ake. Gonzalez covers up, and starts to shoot uppercuts out of his guard. Right hands up top by Ake, hurting Gonzalez a bit despite his chaff tactics.

Round 3

Gonzalez blocks some shots and then suddenly roars to life out of his guard, backing Ake to the corner with nonstop straight flurrying!! Jab, right, jab, right, jab, right, jab, right!! Ake is getting his face bruised up, and looks ready to go after a couple of rights! Gonzalez is really pounding him! Ake throws some arm punches to the body. Gonzalez slaps him above the temple with a hook. Both are weak of arm now. Gonzalez is accurate with his hooks but they are out of steam. Ake is just thumping the body and missing all his power shots upstairs. Gonzalez rolls away from a jab and Ake finds him with the right hand to the face, but there is little on it. Hooking flurry by Gonzalez. Neither of these guys is going to hurt the other with these shots...but if one of them is exhausted enough they might get put down by one anyway. They keep trading hooks! Ake looks like he is about to pass out but he is the busier puncher!

Ake retired in his corner.

His face is all puffy.

The Mexicans are not impressed.

If there were Hondurans in the crowd, they'd be ecstatic.
