It's very simple. If the other guy is going to make more money anyways, Why the hell would you want to be a champion????????
that use to be an unwriten rule that a champ would get a rematch. I have no problem with that... If I were Quintana I would give the belt up and not fight Williams again, he will lose a rematch, and a shot at some big money fights.
umm legacy? to raise your stock? to be able to face and beat better opponents? to be able to raise your purse in each fight? to be able to make a name for yourself? i could go on and on dude. now that quintna is a champ, he is better known and as you have said, he was already offered a bigger purse. and if he beats williams again, i assure you that his purse will be even higher. now, if wuintana chose not to be a champion anymore, then he'll bu stuck in small sweaty gyms trying to fight for a couple of hamburgers.
Damm a ****ing round or two that Cazarez put down and then Calderon run for a round is not enought to win a fight. Just because one fighter hurt another don,t make him the winner or you are blind.
Oye, chacho. nunca te vas a ser millionario limpiando la mierda de los caballos. deja de decir pendejadas, por favor!!! :rofl :rofl
wat the **** fight were these foos watching? , cazares won the fight easily ? he won four rounds at the most and im being extremely kind by giving him four rounds!
I agree it's bull****. It's not like Quintana won a controversial decision...he clearly beat Williams...and so did Calderon. I don't know who the idiot was that said he lost and was given a gift. Calderon gave Cazares a boxing clinic...and Cazares came into the fight several weight classes above Calderon. BTW I don't mind the Quintana rematch with Williams...but Quintana the Champion does deserves the bigger purse....that's how it's always been.
