How can the WBO rank David Haye as number 1 when he has only fought two fights in his comeback, both of which were against weak opposition (to put it mildly), and his next fight is against a cruiserweight? Has the WBO lost all credibility?

It's the same way that Shannon Briggs is going to earn a title shot.
Have a large mouth and pay the right people some money.

Complete and utter joke really as Haye is totally irrelevant, but I don't think it matters anyhow as Haye won't take the Parker fight. When he was asked about it in an interview the other day he completely brushed past the topic and didn't seem interested. Haye isn't back to win titles or to secure legacy, he's only back for money and that means an AJ fight. If there's any risk, any risk at all of Haye not getting the AJ fight then Haye won't go for it.

Agreed, there is no way he fights Parker. It'll be interesting to see how long the WBO will keep him as number one if he won't take the fight!

Yeah you're right and it stinks quite frankly,AJ is fighting Wlad so what gives Haye the right to fight nobody until AJ is ready?i like Haye as a boxer as he's a monster but he shows his weakness by not wanting to face anyone remotely good in case he gets beat?

Haye is a master of creating drama and grudges and then justifying his fights by saying he needs to "take care of that business first" and after that he'll supposedly move on to better opponents.

He picks opponents like Chisora, Fury, Briggs and Bellew who talk trash and create hype in the media but are not that dangerous (Haye was the favorite against Fury back then) and play into his style. Then again he backed out of Fury and Briggs fights so maybe he thought they're dangerous after all.

Haye will never in a million years fight someone like Parker, he's only interested in the winner of Joshua vs Klitschko and is stalling to get that fight by creating this fake grudge match against Bellew.

I never understood why this guy was so popular, maybe casual boxing fans simply like divas and quasi-celebrity boxers.

Looking at Haye's resume it isn't that solid, he has some decent wins against people he was supposed to beat, a couple of cans and an underwhelming performance against Klitschko.

It's too bad that the fight with Fury came off as that would have been the end of him.
