    A few months back Cleverly was complaining about the fans response to cherrypicking in a interview with Bunce.

    He said something down the line of; "Boxing has changed. Nowadays fans expect you to fight a world level opponent after you had 1 or 2 world title defences, in the earlier days you could rack up 10 easy defences before they started to demand a world level opponent."

    Of course his comment has merit, but he clearly looks at the matter from the wrong angle...
    The fans aren't nagging, you're supposed to fight "world level" opponents if you want to call yourself a "world champion" Nathan! :patsch

    Cleverly stopped Murat and thought that earned his a couple of years off from any top 15 challengers. Then, he probably considers Bellew as his next fight which he earns time from just because he got beat up more than he should have in it.

    Cleverly needs to dump ****** ASAP before his reputation his severely damaged. I doubt that Cleverley is pleased by ******'s selection of opponents.

    He'd be better off fighting Hopkin's and losing than dominating fighters of such a low standard.

    It seems Cleverly is a fighter who's happy to make money fighting bums with deceptive records than to pursue the big, riskier fights. For those reasons I think him and Frank are the perfect match.

    Cleverly's plan is to fight as many bums as he can then retire after a big fight with Hopkins (something fish eyes has convinced him he'll get for him at the millenium stadium)

    If you read Nathan's comments your quote seems to be true... The bums he's fighting are probably not bum enough in Clev's eyes. He wants "his manager who should not be named" to really pick the bottom of the barrell :yep
