Does anyone know if Joshua will have back to back WBO mandatories. Joyce and Frank Warren have recently said they have 1 more fight which is tonight against Takem, before they face a Joshua for the full title. I believed the WBO installed Usyk as the mandatory, and haven’t said anything about there being 2 mandatories. I know the WBC installed 2 mandatories for Keith Thurman when he was champion but that was made public knowledge. In addition Joshua has more then 1 belt, so I would think once and if he beats Usyk, I believe it will be the WBA, then IBF and and back to WBO. note I know the WBA don’t in force mandatory defences.
Who knows what’s going on with these corrupt governing bodies. Whyte was wbc mandatory for about 10 years and still didn’t get a shot at gene wilder
Frank has a good relationship with the WBO who normally would not call the mandatory so soon after Uysk However its possible they might again for Joyce based on the above
