The same reason Dirrel, Abraham and Froch are ducking ROBERT STIEGLITZ.

Tua's best win is not being as fat and getting a contraversial draw against Barrett. It's disgusting he is rated 2nd.

Tomasz Adamek is ranked 2nd with 4 wins as a heavy.

In fairness all 4 fights were wins against decent opposition. That combined with his Cruiserweight record would put him pretty high in the rankings.

These rankings are corrupt and the result of performances years and years ago. In the case of Tua it is historical performances from years ago, far removed from his current level and current standing in HW boxing.

Tua destroyed the wbo #6 in 2 rounds so they put him at #3, chambers got knocked out, so tua moved up one, povetkin got demoted, adamek got some good wins, so he leap frogged tua. Should tua have that ranking, no, but he does now, and no one else has done any thing yet to put them above tua, so he retains his place. Doesn't mean it's right, but once you are ranked, you're in the system, anything he does now, decides his place relative to that #2, not where he should be.
