I know that the WBO has very little respect on here and I'm working on the assumptoin that JMM vacates the title.

Could we Katsidis v DeMarco? (providing ADM wins his next bout)

That would be a good fight, no? Or too early for the kid DeMarco?

I think Guzman vs. somebody would fight for the vacated WBO belt.

Khan is number one. After Kotelnik, if he wins he'll move down and fight for it I think!

Here are the newest WBO rankings at 135......

    1. Michael Katsidis
    2. Antonio DeMarco
    3. Urbano Antillon
    4. Bredis Prescott
    5. Juan Diaz
    6. Marco Antonio Barerra
    7. Ali Funeka
    8. Vincente Escobedo
    9. Anthony Peterson
    10. Jason Pagara
    11. Joan Guzman
    12. Thai Tor Salichai
    13. Daniel Brizuela
    14. Jatoora Tjingaveta
    15. Fernando Da Silva

If Marquez vacates, the WBO would order the top 2 available contenders to fight for the vacant title.

A more likely scenario is that JMM loses to Floyd, and then comes back in a WBO defense against Katsidis. (since Floyd-JMM is not a lightweight fight, JMM would not be stripped for taking a loss to Floyd at 144)

Unless I'm mistaken, Katsidis got a -nudge nudge wink wink- vote of confidence FROM the WBO about becoming the mandatory challenger to JMM if he beat Jesus Chavez. Since doing that, I've heard all sorts of rumors about Katsidis vs guys like Vincente Escobedo and Bredis Prescott.

Katsidis is apparently set up for a BAD show upcoming in either May or June...if he drops a decision there, it would be pretty disasterous for his career.

Cutting it close if he has a fight on in May Arriba...Katsidas that is.

My mail is he isnt in training..I made a thread in the Aussie forum asking what he is up to and the response I got is that he looks to be waiting to see what Hatton does.

Katsidis has lots of potential, but he needs a really good trainer.

you are a complete idiot. How is pointing out that Hatton hasnt said 1 word about fighting Katsidis (or anybody else for that matter) hating?

you seem to think that anytime someone calls out another fighter that somehow means the fight is in talks or something. lol

Isnt there a way for you to put me on ignore or something so you dont have to reply to every post I make?

Prescott struggled against Toledo who was sparked by Soto down at 130.

    Prescott is going nowhere IMO.
