    Details at the link above.

Good to see that the WBO has not let the unfounded, potentially-defamatory grumblings of a small part of the boxing world alter the decades-old standards of the sport.

Again, if one boxer is to be subject to a certain kind of testing -- particularly when that boxer is not an admitted PED user (Mosley) or working with highly suspect individuals (Andre Ward) -- then all boxers should be subject to the same testing.

If not, then the sport becomes farce as non-uniform standards are applied based upon individual fighters' whims to try to force their opponents to be tested when they feel like it.

    Good work, WBO. :good

Boxing should embrace proper testing. Yes, some fighters will drop out of the sport in fear of being found out, but this way we know the future fights are concerning legitimate warriors.

Yes! Lets let the Mosley's and Pac's of the world cheat their way to the top! I'm game for that.

Boxing DOES need new testing guidlines so this kind of thing never happens again, that is fact. This news doesn't surprise me in the least. A chage is gonna come, oh yes it will...

Sad I was a Pac man fan, but I am really starting to dislike him with the way he is doing this drug testing bull****. Yea let him take a fight with a lesser opponent for less money just so he doesn't have to take a drug test. What a piece of ****.

Are you stupid? Less testing would inevitably lead to more fighter's taking illegal substances. Do you want to see an honest fighter get in the ring with somebody who's taking banned substances and end up getting killed?

So now the WBO has a say???? Why not say something before??? The WBO was licking thier chops at the thought of getting thier share of the Mayweather Pac event, but now they take a stand. Just goes to show how ****ed these governing bodies are.

I think that the drug tests should be made stricter but not only for Pacquiao fights. Set up a new procedure and apply it to all title fights.

Why can't they follow something like the MLB has created. You can't change the game for one man, but a whole change would be accepted.

It has to start with someone... why couldn't it have started with Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao?

Oh I get it! Because it's Floyd's idea then it has to be wrong.:good

    Wrong

No it doesnt just start with someone. The new drug testing rule has to be made first.
