I don't think anyone is against testing, the question is one of oversight. Who decisions what type of tests, when, what to test for etc.

These questions shouldn't really be decided by individual fighters, this should be regulated. And if the regulations are outdated, they should be reviewed and updated.

If he asks for it in ALL of his upcoming fights, then I will unquestioningly respect it. It will show me he was out for the betterment of the sport and not a self motivated reason. Now if he doesn't what's to say????:think:think

Now look what they have been able to do in baseball since Canseco came out. They have changed the tests and now have a very knowledgable drug commission. They use urine tests and can detect anything blood can, they are done randomly and to persons who are brought upon suspicion. Blood is no longer considered better analysis than urine like it once was, and HGH is likely to be undetected in both cases as with a host of new designer drugs. Nothing is foolproof but you need KNOWLEDGABLE people in charge and I hardly think Floyd Jr. or Sr. qualify, you obviously disagree.

The ball is rolling and that's what matters... Baseball is much cleaner now than it was ten years ago. If you're expecting foolproof drug testing then you're dumber than you sound...Never will happen..

You're joking right? MLB is a roid infested cess pool and their lousy testing standards and penalties are laughable and only for show. Boxing should never follow such an example. IOC is the gold standard for both drug testing and penatlies issued and thats what boxing should aspire to. Change has to start from someone. I have no problem with Mayweather trying to bring standards to where they should be, even if it is for self-serving reasons. The guy is legitimatly affraid of fighting what he sincerely believes is a juiced up Pac. Can you blame him, esp. after Manny's response?

No testing was good for baseball. Lots of home runs. However I dont see how you think less testing is good for the guy who is getting punched in the face
