I mean, it's a mystery as to why YouTubers are taking the monopoly of boxing investors... The heavyweight champ of the world has more interest in a 3rd rematch with someone he has already soundly beaten, over fighting the other champion of the division. Then we have the self-proclaimed P4P champ fighting someone that the majority of the world have never heard of (let alone boxing purists). Well done, you've officially buried boxing as the sport it once was.
Shame on the WBO for making Rocha their number one contender when they have Vergil Ortiz at number two. This is not to say Rocha's a bum, just that he does not deserve anybody's number one spot at 147.
I think Crawford will be happy to decline the fight and give up his WBO title if he gets a shot at Spence and the other three belts.
I don't even blame crawford, professional boxing is a circus right now. The money just isn't there anymore. Young kids will always want to learn how to throw hands correctly but the days of the massive PPV's and sold out venues are coming to an end. Look at the younger under 25 years old generation, they will show up in droves to watch youtubers box. But they will not spend a dime to watch people that can actually fight.
