If the WBO does that, then I'm almost certain that Canelo is getting Khurtsidze's position. Recent press releases from the WBO already made it clear that they really like to see Saunders vs Alvarez, and with that the money that comes with it. So a clear case of going for the money over what's right, while masking it as forcing the rules upon their beltholder.
As long as that UK bum Saunders loses his belt, I'm fine with it. The dude is hanging onto that belt for dear life.
But what do you think happens as Canelo gets his greedy mitts on the belt? K2 will need a top level hostage negotiator to even get the belt out within a year, and need to honor most of the Mexican cartel's insane demands too.
