WBO orders Saunders vs Andrade

Per Boxing Scene.

Good fight.

 

Andrade wins.

 

Andrade all day, but I'm a massive homer, so take that pick with a grain of salt. But honestly I think Andrade is pretty wrong for BJS, though I think BJS is the better boxer overall.

 

Andrade is more talented and more skilled and should win. But BJS has a certain quality about that might make him tougher to beat than many might expect. Therefore, he's a very live underdog.

And this is coming from an Andrade fan.

How did Andrade become the mandatory?
Yes he was the WBO champ at 154 back in 2014. So it makes sense he would hold a high ranking there.

But how the **** is he the nr 2 contender after just one fight at 160?

 

I would love this!!

 

He's a better option than Murray or Monroe, and actually stands a good chance at beating Saunders.

 

I like this fight, Saunders by UD.

However, both these guys have a habit of not actually fighting very much, so I doubt it happens.

 

Absolutely. But i dont get how he got into the position. It´s ridiculous.

 

I think Billy joe will vacate or keep pulling out till he gets stripped. If this fight gets made I think Andrade might be able to pull it out.

 

I could see Saunders ducking in hopes of getting GGG or Canelo. He might do it Gypsy style, meaning letting the fight go to purse bids, cancelling at the last second, then asking for an exception to fight GGG/Canelo.

 

Hmm, unexpected but good news.
If this happens, I’d say Saunders by SD or close UD.

 

Saunders beats Andrade pretty easily imo. He will look like he did vs Monroe/Lee. Saunders is too slick and his jab is too superb imo the best jab in middle weight along with GGG.

 

Easy win for Saunders if he's at his best and that's a big IF
