How on earth is Parker, Kabayel, or Hrgovic "next-gen"? Dubois also is very much this generation. Kabayel was beating Chisora about nine years ago, Hrgovic is 33 and been a pro for about a decade, Parker was a belt holder nearly a decade ago but he's "next-gen"

Very generous. I'd give him about 0.01% on the chance that Usyk would take him lightly.

Usyk is the tail end of the AJ, Fury, Wilder era.. The next one is about to begin when Usyk retires in the next year or two

Will Usyk take the Parker fight or drop the belt to fight for it again and go three times Undisputed Heavyweight Champion ? I don’t think Usyk has any plans to retire anytime soon so we could well see him in a few more fights however I’d like him to fight Parker then retire . There is also Kabayel waiting for the Usyk fight with him sitting as the WBC Interim Champion, that is the hardest fight out there for Usyk imo .

Usyk enterted the division after Parker had already won and lost his WBO belt and years after Kabayel beat Chisora in a stinker.

What is Turki's problem with Parker? He was supposed to lose to Wilder, Zhang and Dubois (he threw money at Bakole instead who Turki thought had the best chance eof beating him).

And he freezes him out in the mean time. Originally it was apparently because Parker is boring, so Parker worked on his style and KO'd Bakole in two.

Parker just needs to get his hands on a belt so the guys can stop ignoring him. If Usyk doesn't take the fight that is.

It could still happen. The people behind Riyadh Season weren't interested in the Dubois rematch, yet it happened.

Great fight - looking forward to this. Parker has earned his shot.

Assume it will take place end of this year ? Parker hasn't fought in month and took no damage, Usyk didn't take much damage either really but will want a rest as he is a super hard trainer.

Damn that sucks. I mean Turki calls the shots.

I really can't be assed for a third fight with Fury. I don't even get why Turki would want to see it either. A strange one because he has done a lot for boxing but that would be a huge mistake.

I'd have said Saudi until reports circulated that Turki does not want this fight to happen.

Its completely crazy. Parker is 33 and peaking. He likely won't be able to fight at this level in another 3 years or so. Not everyone can age like Usyk.

This is just so odd. Turkl seems to have an obsession with either UK fighters or fighters of African descent. So it seems like he is trying to create a African descent champion by bringing a guy like Itauma into the picture when Itauma has done nothing to earn it. And of course persisting with Fury despite Fury having caused multiple delays.

Crazy. Just crazy. You shouldn't be trying to manufacture a champion based on ethnicity or nationality. I don't care if Parker doesn't sell. As a member of the paying public and a die hard, i want to see the best fights available. Parker should have been in the ring with Usyk last week and yet Dubois got his shot by virtue of being a UK fighter.

I don't care if Usyk can't make 100 million fighting Parker. Who cares? He is champion and he needs to defend it vs the best guy even if he only makes 1 million. He has already made 200 + million in his last few fights. So the whole idea that the money isn't there is absurd.

Parkers only chance at this stage is to step in at the last minute if someone else pulls out. Even then, i am not sure if it will be allowed.

Itauma will stand Parker on his head after he knocks Whyte's head clean off and everyone here will look silly

I just have this feeling that Turki doesn’t see Parker as an exciting enough fighter or someone that has a chance to beat Usyk.

Obviously I can’t read anyones mind! But I just suspect that Turki feels that a Parker fight doesn’t excite him or achieve anything.
