Really? You're pinning Trinidad on him?

    1) there were two voices in the corner, of which Gil Clancy was the more vocal that DLH should turn defensive and not engage Tito anymore whatsoever. Robert Alcázar merely said "box".

    2) it wasn't even bad advice (Gil Clancy's, let alone Robert Alcázar's); the judges got that one wrong and if he rumbled Oscar might have gotten himself sparked. Tito was a lights out puncher and Oscar had been hurt in R10.

Yes he fought the wrong fight! Alcazar never taught Oscar certain techniques to allow him to beat the elites. All he had to do in the Trinidad was Jab jab sit on a straight and clinch!!! Same with Mosley!!! Mayweather senior employed this tactic in the second Mosley fight and I thought Oscar one this one!!!

When Mungia fought the Asian guy a few months back all he had to do was clinch the guy when he cane in but ****** Alcazar was telling him he was doing good and go to the body when he came in!!! Ffs!!! That is the I it shot the Asian side had against Mungia why not just nullify it completely???

Munguia should rematch him, I mean who else is he going to fight? Charlo? Hurd? Harrison? They'd all beat the **** out of him. Hogan is only getting older.

The five individual judges' re-score totals have been posted on the Stifler's Mum thread. I didn't see them on the WBO website but presumably they are there also.

Three of the five judges scored it a draw. One had Hogan winning & the other had Mungo winning.

How does that add up to Mungo winning the fight 7 rounds to 5?

The WBO statement is very misleading & in my view, dishonest. As is the selective reporting on this subject by various boxing websites who have relied on the WBO's aggregated mathematical mumbo jumbo statement to write their stories.

The bottom line is only one re-score judge out of five had Mungo winning the fight. And the WBO reckons Hogan doesn't deserve a rematch?

    Get real.

Yep they couldn’t rescore the Pac Horn farce properly they were just saving face, same thing there doing here. It is good to see Glenn Rushton get a taste of his own medicine though.

Pretty sure most of the judges from the Horn v Pac re-score scored it to Horn. In fact, I think all of them did.

Here only one of five judges scores it to Mungo & the WBO puts out a statement saying the re-score shows that Mungo won the fight 7 rounds to 5.

That's a total misrepresentation of the facts from a dishonest, shonky, tin-pot Latin American sanctioning body.

Shame on the WBO for misrepresenting the facts of the re-score. Shame on the boxing media who relied on the WBO's press release & were too lazy to do their own checking.

One in five re-score judges scoring it to Mungo doesn't add up to a Mungo win.
