WBO rejects Torres appeal!

That's a raw deal for Torres

 

It's sad that Holt won't give Torres a rematch when Torres gave one to him.

 

What an inconclusive rivalry this has turned out to be. Holt got the shaft the first time and now Torres is getting the short end. They have to fight again and settle it once and for all.

 

This is a bull**** ruling. That headbutt was the obvious set up for the knockout blow. I can understand the ref missing it at the time - but with the benefit of video technology - there is no denying this truth.

 

It was very clear that the headbutt affected Torres. Before that, Torres was lighting holt's ass on fire.

 

Sweet justice?, it's not like Torres is asking them to change the result of the fight, he just wants an immediate rematch. There's video evidence that a butt occurred before Holt landed his punch and the butt clearly hurt Torres.

Because he was dazed from the butt, it clearly hurt him.

 

Very poor ruling IMHO. I hope Holt is going to do the right thing and give Torres a voluntary rematch. After all, Torres gave him one when he was under no obligation to, even travelling to Holt's home turf to make it happen. Sadly, I doubt Holt wants any part of him in a return bout, he knows he got lucky.
