dazed or not he left his chin exposed.

that is absolutely not true at all, Torres didn't want to fight Holt.

why do you think Ricardo had zero fights in between his 1st and second fight vs Holt? Ricardo unsuccessfully tried to secure other fights with Victor Ortiz and I believe he was also looking to face Hatton

but bottom line, because of all the inactivity how can you say Torres gave Holt the rematch? sure Holt got the rematch, but it wasn't cuz of Torres

Torres couldn't get anyone else to fight. Process of elimination left Kendall Holt.

so based on that ^ how can you foolishly say Holt wants "any part of him in a rematch"

I think the TV companies should put some good money up for that fight.

If I'm not mistaken, the WBO ordered a rematch between the two that setup the second fight. There's no reason for them to order a 3rd fight. It was an accidental clash of heads. That happens in boxing. It's not like the Thompson fight were the fight was stopped based on a cut resulting from a headbutt and ruled a TKO.

The WBO made the right call on this one. I hope Holt agrees to a rubbermatch, but the WBO still made the right call.

edit: No rematch was ordered. Holt had to work his way back up the rankings.

you are mistaken, the WBO didn't mandate ANYTHING

if WBO did mandate a rematch why did Holt fight Ben Tackie in February?

yeah just saw the edit you made

but I agree completely it was an accidental head butt, not done on purpose

everyone should stop acting like the fight was stopped pre maturely or something.

Sorry, did the fight not happen then? If it did and Holt wasn't the mandatory then Torres gave him the rematch. I'm sure he could have found SOMEONE else to give a title shot to.

If Holt were a true Champion, this would not feel like a real victory. If he is a real Champion, he will give him an immediate rematch. Quite honestly, the way he acted in the ring after the fight was over, I don't think it is in his character to give Torres an immediate rematch. I think he acted like a child and a punk!!

Torres agreed to rematch Holt because it was the best money fight out there for him. If a third fight is the best money fight out there for Holt, he and Torres will probably fight again.

The WBO ruled against Holt the first time. And he had beer cans thrown at him during the fight, someone grabbed his leg during a round, and the stoppage was BS. Stop complaining about a bias that doesn't exist.

Torres was in no hurry to give Holt an immediate rematch after the debacle that was the first fight. Holt had to fight again and then the rematch occured. Torres needs to get his glass jaw back in the ring and earn a third fight.

He was KO'd by a straight right. The left hook to the body and the clash of heads(which was initiated by Torres) staggered him. Protect yourself at all times. Torres is still ranked no.2. He just needs to win 1 eliminator and he'll be Holt's mando.

The headbutt took his legs regardless of you admiting or not,he couldn't defend himself after that, the headbutt had a significant part in the KO.Athird fight should happen
