I said it was injured. The x-rays said it wasn't broken. I was just clarifying that point. Jeez guys. I'm not ignoring medical facts based on what a manager says. It might make good copy but if the doctors said it isn't broken, then until the doctors say they made an error, it wasn't broken.

Sorry Herm, sometimes it's hard to tell when just reading ****. I thought it sounded like you were part of the crowd that has acted like the injury to Tim's foot was insignificant and couldn't have made the task of fighting Manny Pacquiao any tougher than it already is....

I can see you were simply pointing out that Duncan said his foot was broken, and that's not the case...

Would an MRI show a sprain?

The WBO has to stand by the decision or they look like they are caving in to public pressure. Why would a decision be reversed. That would be terrible for boxing to let decisions be reversed because people do not like it. The judges scored the fight. Have a rematch. I hope the WBO does the right thing and keeps the decision like it is.

the only opinions which matter officially are the 3 judges. That is why we put our trust in them. overturning this would be a big mistake. Fights are scored round by round and Bradley did well the last part of the fight. How can they reverse this? That would be a bigger black eye on boxing than a scorecard decision people think is bad. You reverse that decision, and then everytime a guy loses he is going to think it will be reversed, and the judges official cards will not matter as much anymore. The scorecards have to be solid and not questioned. We cannot go back and changed decisions

Hopefully they atleast rule it a no contest, but still does not change the fact something very shady went on.

you cannot do that. There was a decision and the judges felt that is how the fight went. Boxing is going to become the joke people think it is if decisions are reversed. I think boxing is a great sport. I don't think it will be reversed, and they will not call it a no contest. it isn't like the scorecards were tallied up wrong. They were added up right. Nothing can be done about it. Judges made a decision they felt was correct.

Its been done before. Even if they did it boxing is still a joke for having it happen at all.

I don't think so. I think it would only show tears of the soft tissue. I'm not sure that is the case in a sprain.

I heard during the fight his corner told im to 'suck it up'. I actually had a thread after I read it. This is all what Dunkin said too. He flat out said the x-rays didn't show a break and then went on to say there were over 700 bones in the foot, some to small to see, and that an MRI would be needed. I was half tempted to start Dr. Dunkin-Hi alias. :D

This is the crap that boxing that gets me sometimes. The truth was good enough but by lying he makes people question the legitimacy of the injury. But, I guess I'm funny about this kind of crap. People from my former company would lie to customers to get them off the phone. I was the ones that had to see the customer face to face. So, when the customers started asking me about stuff the others said, I'd tell them the truth. I wasn't a very popular guy with some of my co-workers but I just got tired of it after a while. People lied when the truth was actually better than the friggin lie they worked so hard on to make up. :patsch

This, change has to start somewhere, however controversial we may all think it is at the time. Robberies hurt the sport more than anything
