WBO strips Mayweather for non compliance, pretty stupid if you ask me.

They're all corrupt and none more so than the WBA and WBC.

The WBA and WBC are allowing Mayweather to hang on to their junior middleweight straps even though he hasn't boxed at the weight for almost two years and has shown no intention of ever boxing at the weight again.

Mayweather should also be stripped of these titles.

The same rules should apply to all.

 

why will a champ hold a belt if he has no plan on defending it with the mandatories anyway. floyd only wants money so why will he give it away. so maybe people should stop insisting on upholding his legacy. main reason he cherry picks and ducks.

 

Well they gave him a deadline and I think they wanted him to fight Bradley. FLoyd doesn't really care about any belts, so he's not going to get pressured by some alphabet title company and forced to fight someone he doesn't want to.

He's one of the few fighters in this sport where accumulating belts isn't a priority whatsoever. Bradley can enjoy being a paper champion and winning a belt he never really earned.

 

It's pathetic really, they KILLED the division with this. Who cares for 154 nowadays? Nobody.

Floyd didnt pay fees, he should be stripped. Its simple. Its not like he was going to face WBO mando anyhow.

For those who say he doesnt need that belt, well they are right as well. Unless he was going to try and unify all 4, which would have been pretty significant historically, theres zero reason for him to pay the 200k or w/e and keep the WBO belt.

Sometimes there is no "wrong". WBO is right to strip a guy who isnt serious about their belt, Floyd is right to not worry about paying for a belt that does nothing for him.

 

Nobody wants to pay 2% per belt.. That's stupid to pay 1.5M for a bunch of hunks of metal... Dam the WBC, WBA or whoever the hell they are...

 

Who cares? Floyd is the best of the modern era. Give the title to pacquiao, he needs titles for his paper resume.
