in the last 3 months there has been 3 different no1 contenders but none of the guys that were listed lost a fight

wil tomlinson is the no1 contender now , last month it was eloy perez and the month before that it was Terdsak Jandaeng

    what is going on here??

im sure after nicky cook that burns will be wondering if there will be another change as by september he must have a fight set up to face the WBO number 1 contender as it will be a year since he beat martinez

Who knows what they are on at the WBO....in reality Tomlinson is not even a top 10 SFW fighter. Burns would school him.

That is exactly why alledgedly has had him installed as no 1.

Why is Arthur re-signing with Frank, drains weight and Frank pulls a string or 2 to get him as number1 contender?

    Yet another easy defence...

billy mate im not having a go trust me , im scottish an i attended both of rickys title defences at braehead

ive followed the no1 contender as i thought that burns had to fight his mandatory within a year or vacate the title

the rankings that i supplied were correct though , perez was certainly the no1 contender last month as i was speaking through e-mail to john chavez of theboxingtruth radio show as he's from the same area as perez

i think jandaeng was dropped as he won a minor wbc title

bump for billy nelson to answer

hopefully the fight can take place at the kelvin hall , the atmosphere was excellent vs martinez

Im starting a crsh diet on monday, give me 3 month and i reckon i could get a top 10 ranking by the WBO by September.(bear in mind im about 18 stone just now and 6ft3), id be a stylistic nightmare for ricky.

EDIT: I forgot to add that i am of 1 quarter Kenyan descent, so this is doable.

I can tell I well and truly got you ruffled cos your resorting to insults, so does not having a champ from yout home town make you an idiot, go an slag nearly everyone outside of nottingham, bolton and London then too you silly wanker. Ricky burns, wbo paper champ of the world proving all the doubters wrong with wins over evensen, laryea and soon cook.

Billy: Stop PMing me mate, I cant make super Feather so the Burns fight just wont happen with me! Try Flea Man or Boxen from on here if Arthur can't get down either ;) :good

You are coming across like a bit of a mug billy.... Wtf does that have to with anything. I wish Ricky all the best as the Rocky fight was great for British boxing! I just hope there are more quality fights like that 1 against ranked opposition:good
