The problem is that they are not promising to change the outcome. They are merely promising to make the scoring look more acceptable to the loser.
Actual arguments I've hear from *******s in my country's media: - I watched the highlights, I know who won. - Pac won, look at the other guy's face. The worst looking face is the loser. - Winning the fight is not enough to get the belt. Those are ACTUAL arguments that people in the media gave. The truth is that 99.99999% of people claiming robbery have no F idea about how to score a fight and they know nothing about the sport. It was a close decision, the judges saw horn winning, so did I. Could it have gone the other way? yes, sure, lots of really closed rounds. Robbery? no F way. I cant understand how anyone can do anything just because *******s said this or that. If you watch pac vs marquez IV slow motion pacman wins an UD.
Philippines government request ... SMH I can honestly say there are only a few governments worse than my country (USA) right now.
lol Horn has already said he wanted one its now up to your God if he want to go again... A rematch will set Horn up for life and he would be pretty confident of beating Manny...
The only reason to re-score the fight is if the think one or more of the judges turned in cards so egregious that they need additional training and can't work another fight until they complete it (this actually is a good idea but I've seen worse scorecards where they face no ramifications). The result will stand and Pac has a contractual right to a rematch if he wants.
They are also going to re-score Ali vs Young or Shavers, Fullmer vs Joey Giardello, and Billy Graham vs Kid Gavilan (Gavilan was a mob-controlled fighter, too, and when he fought Billy Graham it was clear Graham had been robbed of the title. The decision would be bought. If it was close, the judges would shade it the way they had been told.")
And when you are the champ and it's a toss up you are supposed to get the edge. The challenger is supposed to take the belt not be give the belt like Horn and Bradley.
