Taylor is nobody special, and he barely beat Ruslan. Some people even felt he lost. You fail.

And why bring Broner into it? You yourself said Broner is a bum, and he beat Taylor. Therefore, Taylor is a bum too. :hi:

    3 Ruslan Provodniko
    4 Jason Pagara (International)
    5 Thomas Dulorme

Soooo the nr 2 and 3 contenders are fighting each other yet they are giving the belt to Dulorme and someone who is not ranked at 140?

Ban bets on this forum aren't legit...until ban bets are actually moderated by the mods and bet losers are actually banned...these are just d*ck measuring tools...I don't f*ck with that.

Well they did strip Chris when he fought Pac. Maybe WBO is making it up to him? :think

    Algeiri-Taylor easy ud
    Broner-Taylor hard fought ud
    Broner-Maidana hard fought decision
    Ruslan-Algeiri hard fought decision
    Ruslan-Bradley hard fought decision
    Floyd-Maidana hard fought decision

The point is all these guys are world class.. You guys trying to write off Algeiri, but common opponents tell a much different story..

    Wise up

I'm not writing off Algieri, I have NEVER called him a bum. He's a good fighter but he should have never been in the ring with Pacquiao. I was just reflecting boxing masters poor logic.

I don't know about that.. There's been very few guys in the last ten years that looked like they deserved to be in the ring with Pac.

And the welter divisions (140-54) aren't exactly stacked with guys who have deep resumes. You have Pac, Floyd, Jmm, Bradley , maybe Álvarez and Lara..

Then after that about 20-25 guys that to me are very hard to separate. I think Algeiri deserves to be in that second tier.. To me they're guys that can all best each other, and maybe I their best night pull something off against one of the elite guys...

    :deal

He wasn't ready for Manny. Was too big a step too quick. If he had 2-3 more world level opponents before facing Manny he would have had a much better chance.

Same reason I say don't throw Johnson or Lemieux to GGG yet. Theres a big gap between the bottom of the world level and the elite.

That being said I think Crawford UD's Algieri 8-4, in a fairly boring fight. He has too much quickness, IQ and versatility to let Algieri buzz around him all night pecking. I think Crawford has the makings of an elite boxer with more world level experience.

Agreed. I like Crawford and hope they don't move him too quickly.
