Not at world level, not yet. In a ‘2nd tier’ tournament I’d 100% include him. I don’t think FW lets him anywhere near it though.
Ortiz, Parker, Kabayel, Hrgovic, Hunter, Povetkin, Rivas and Charles Martin would be a realistic group. Stuff the big names. They can go and play A side v B side with their promoters etc. I hope it happens no matter who the group is tbh.
How about a list of heavyweights with nothing to lose, unlikely to be a mandatory anytime soon or just rebuilding from a loss 1) Wallin 2) H Fury 3) Rivas 4) Price 5) Hunter 6) Kabayel 7) Charr 8) Joyce
It needn’t be huge money as the top heavies likely wouldn’t enter with all the politics. The format is better for prospects inside the top 50 looking to make a name for themselves.
This looks like a viable roster, with the exception of Kabayel who just signed with Top Rank and will not be allowed in. Hrgovic or Majidov could take his place. Winner gets Charr's paper Wba belt and a mandatory shot at the real champion.
Gassiev, Romanov, Dychko, Mahkmudov, Kuzmin, Zhilei Zhang, Takam, seem like options as well. I can't see PBC or Top Rank fighters joining in.
