WBSS is pointless because Usyk will win it 100%

Stranger things have happened in boxing than Usyk losing to one of the guys in the WBSS, don't get all gassed up too soon

 

Each of Gassiev, Briedis and Dorticos have a legit chance of beating Usyk, especially the first two.

Even if Usyk does win, the tournament is a great thing as it gives him the opportunity to clean out CW and move up in just a year.

 

Destroy Cruiser, move up and challenge Heavyweight king when the dust settles (Joshua-Wilder-Parker-Ortiz).

 

Yeah, without WBSuperSeries he could get old. Putting on weight @35 would just take away any advantages he had.

He will never be a big puncher @Heavyweight, he's not that powerful @cruiserweight.

Usyk will be 31 in January

Usyk while skilled will struggle against the monster HWs.

 

Briedas is a very good fighter with genuine ko power and skill .he should not be overlooked .his Ko of charr who is a genuine HW was chilling sparked for about two minutes face first.

 

Based off what evidence?? The way he "struggled" against Joyce in the WSOB??

 

Joyce isn't anyone, he's not elite. Guys like AJ Ortiz and Wilder can crack and they will dwarf him in the ring.

 

I don't think anyone seriously believes that he'd beat AJ. He's one of my favourite active fighters along with Bud and GGG and I think he can easily become a top5 HW but I'd strongly favour AJ over him right now.

 

Usyk s handspeed isn't that great either and he gets hit more than people are willing to admit.

He's skilled but essentially a volume puncher with decent foot movement.

If he moved up to HW, he would have to adapt his style to sit on his punches more, otherwise he won't do any real damage but this also makes him a bigger target to GKTFO.

He still has a lot to prove. People should just wait before crowning him.

 

He dominated Medzhidov in his prime and even hurt him to the body. The same Medzhidov who had enough left to win SHW worlds this year. Also dominated Nistor who has a stoppage win over Joshua in the amateurs and Medzhidov bashed Joshua all over the ring in their fight.
