Any word on the TV rights for these tournaments? Will they all be on seperate nights with a full undercard?

Cant see Abraham getting past Eubank either but a couple of good paydays if he does. Yildrim is beatable for both fighters but Groves in the next round is going to be tricky.

I can also see a Eubank pre fight 'injury' happening before the semi finals.

 

Could you not argue the same about Smith. He had a world title fight in 2 months but has swerved it.

 

Tesco Joe's shocking losing run is probably one of the reasons for Smith ducking Dirrell to enter this tournament. Smith hasn't been near a fighter of Groves' calibre.

 

It's well documented that Dirrell is dodging Smith mate. It was scheduled for spring but Dirrell's team asked for it to be moved to September, then they wanted to move to October and then move it to Dirrell's home town. His messing was a clear intention to dodge the bout and in turn it's left Smith stagnating, whilst waiting for his opportunity.

I do agree about him not being near a fight of Groves calibre.

Dirrell would get stripped if he didn't fight Smith.
The Americans often move fight dates around. Kell Brook was messed about with dates before the Porter fight - he didn't pull out.
If Dirrell's team won the purse bids they have every right to stage it in his home town - that's a feeble excuse to use for ducking the fight.

 

Check Smith's IFL interview. After an initial date in May Dirrell's team postponed it three times to October and who knows whether they would have then postponed it again.

Ant Dirrell is stone cold *****. This is the guy who said he would never fight Groves, and this was when Groves was his mandatory. Can't wait for Benavidez to beat the **** out of him.

It would be interesting to know how water tight these contracts are to stop the chances of 'non -injury' pull outs. Hopefully there will be strong financal penalties.

Really looking forward to a Eubank v Groves mega-fight but something inside tells me it won't happen. I guess it all depends on the prizepool breakdown.
