Me too. Hence my comments about Smith pulling out of a world title fight.

 

fighting in the wbss with a chance to win the wba super and a share of 50 million euros or pounds is better than waiting for a fight with direll where his uncle would probably attack him after smith gets robbed in dirrels home town

 

He pulled out of a world title fight because they wanted to bring it forward one day to Sept 8th and move the venue
(according to rumours that Tesco Joe had somehow heard from across the pond). He gets an easier fight next and Tesco ends his losing streak.
The tournament is very unlikely to run as planned.

 

You clearly don't know the full story, first he was meant to fight jack then he fought degale, then jack vacated so smith was meant to fight direll in may but the deal never materialized. then they agreed to fight in LA on September 9th then direll tried to move it to his home town, and then they were gonna try and move it to October, Direll never wanted the fight and they were doing all they could to get out of it. Even if the tournament dosent go completely to plan its better to fight the guys in the wbss than wait longer to face direll when he clearly doesnt want it. Callum had already been waiting over a year for a shot. they even asked direll to join the wbss but he declined, that says it all.

 

Excellent post day it up very well. Only one person was scared between Smith and Dirrell and it wasn't Smith

 

That's the Tesco version. US press said they were moving the fight forward a day to 8th Sept.
