Yes, although he and Groves both hold WBA titles

If you're on twitter you should mention the tourney to Benavidez's promoter Sampson Lewkowicz. Just that it would be great to see Benevidez in it, because it damn would be. https://twitter.com/sampsonboxing

I highly doubt Eubank will enter. He's scheduled to fight Abraham in just two weeks, at Wembley on UK PPV, in the biggest event of his career. He'd have to cancel that, and would break a lot of contracts to do so. His latest tweet is to Abraham, telling him he'll obliterate him like the British obliterated the Nazis.

He would not necessarily have to cancel that, even if he lost to Abraham CEJ is still a big enough name to get into the WBSS.

Eddie Hearn confirms that Rocky Fielding also applied to the WBSS, but they preferred Cox over him.

True. Win or lose he'd deserve in, and could comfortably fight two and a half months later. Still seems logistically difficult to have two fights scheduled.

This tweet was liked by one of the Smith's, maybe it's Callum.

In other news, Peter Quillin is coming back at SMW, could he be interested? WBSS liked this tweet:

Most likely cause cox is undefeated, even though quite a few think rocky better than cox.
