Well, if someone is not poor, for example if you already had more than average engineer might earn during 5-10 years on account after taxes paid off, there is stuff called preparation for pre fight camps and camp with sparrings. Majority of ppl did not wished to do 100-140 rounds of sparrings in total during camp for 12 rounder, plus boring S/C and fitness programmes, preps for pre fight camps, also ofc even if not this, casual training regime that athlete should have to do. It is difficult to adjust with casual office job etc or work in business as businessman too.

 

That breidis has probably earned a few million now.

 

If business sense is good, even with a bit less than million anyone is able to make some investments etc.
I know some guys that had retired when they had not that much, still, some proper savings usage etc, not bat.
One had 3 - 10 rounders and 1- 12 rounder, he won these fights but retired. It is difficult to tell, some guys feel not easy road even if they were undefeated and did 8 rounders with a glance. No offense, it is life.

 

Worth watching right now or one to catch up with on a rainy day?

Dorticos I think too might benefit from this fight: name more exposed in media, he was not finished and most likely will remain in TOP10, this means that with proper marketing at least 6 digit sums easily might be earned at least in couple of his next fights, CW or HW.

 

Lol I just watched Taylor there barely sat down to watch and it was over, ok I might watch Edwards then instead, just waiting for some live action to start

 

Just watched the fight... how did one judge have it a draw? Imo Dorticos won 4 rounds at the very best, I had it 117-111

 

Also, Briedis wouls be top 6 at HW
He is a ****ing legend, he won't be remembered in 20 years time but he is very very underappreciated, should be in top 7 P4P.
