No Dougie, Percy kid Graves was never a champion...He fought the very best in a great boxing era. Kid Graves fought Jack Britton 5 times,Soldier
Bartfield 5 times, Mike Gibbons, Ted kid Lewis, and his most remembered fight was on Dec.16, 1915 when he was given a tko win over the young
Harry Greb in the second round, when Greb broke his hand and couldn't
continue the fight. Greb would go the next 250 bouts without losing on
    a stoppage...Cheers Dougie :hi:.

Dougie, the so called claim that kid Graves was a Welterweight champion
has no validation..There were so many fighters who claimed a title then
that were superior to Graves, making such a claim. In all the years i have been following boxing, i have never read of Kid Graves being the best
fighter of his time, who deserved to be called champion...Anyone can
make a claim. Good for the box office...Keep punching...b.b.
