im not a floyd fan but you have to admit that this guy is for real and he has too much boxing talent for ricky.
mayweather is too fast and too quick maybe and good stamina compared to a fighter like hatton who depends heavily on his punching power. i hope hatton does pull off an upset but its not gonna happen. floyds hand and foot speed alone will already win him a unanimous decision.

this fight is going to look a lot like the mayweather/baldomir fight. its going to be a shutout and maybe even a KO for floyd.

its his stamina footwork and body punching that has got Hatton this far, power is not really one of his biggest assets.

Hatton is no Baldomir. He has considerably quicker hands and he's a more active fighter. That's the wildcard in this fight. How will PBF react to Hatton's constant pressure? Will he be able to make Hatton miss constantly or will Hatton's sheer activity be enough in some rounds?

If i had to bet, i would definitely put my money on PBF for a UD but i don't think it's a wash for him either.

hatton is a very good fighter but he is moving up ik he only had one fight at 147 but he didnt look good so im gonna judge off that.....mayweather is a great fighter and i think it will be a wide ud like 9 rds to 3

To be honest, if Hatton comes into the fight 140-143 at the top of his game, I really see this being more competitive than the Baldomir fight - certainly more competitive than the Gatti fight. Baldomir doesn't have the speed of Hatton, doesn't effectively pressure as well as Hatton, and doesn't have the same tenacity/workrate. Gatti fought a stupid fight, but he would never do any better against Floyd at any point in his career.

Win over Tszyu was a nice effort but PBF is a completely different fighter to anyone Hattons ever fought before. Hatton is highly hittable. Floyd has ridiculous speed and boxing skills. I think you are overlooking how hard it is going to be for Hatton to execute his 'pressure' without getting leathered to pieces. Hes gonna be tasting glove for weeks.

Hatton is also a much different fighter than anybody Floyd has faced.

This fight really doesn't look much like the Baldomir fight at all to me since Hatton is better in basically every way. Baldomir is a solid fighter, but he's not fantastic at anything.

Exactly! What these people don't understand that Hatton is successful against poeple who stand in front of him like Zoo or Castillo for example. against PBF he won't have that luxury. PBF is the best defensive boxer in the game and he will fustrate Hatton with his movement much like Collazo did in their fight. He will catch Hatton falling in and make him pay for his lack of a jab to keep him honest. Not to mention Ricky's horrible defense against and accurrate puncher like PBF spells doom. Hatton IMO really has no chance in this fight he's beaten in almost every department.

And PBF is on a different level than anyone Hatton has faced. Hatton can't deal with movement it doesn't suit his style.:deal
