You mean the Oscar fight in which Oscar won no more than 4 rounds at best? Or the two Castillo fights that PBF won as well? One thing you have to remember both Oscar and Castillo have something that Hatton lacks...a jab. Hatton won't beat PBF because he lacks the outside boxing game, he has horrible defense and he can't handle fighters with excellent defense and movement.

Those of you who are fooled into thinking Fraud will even try to KO Hatton, are beyond stupid.

I am not a Floyd fan either but I also admit he is for real, with better boxing skills than Ricky Hatton. I disagree that Hatton depends on punching power cause he's a pressure energy fighter with tremendous level of commitment that enables him to go beyond the pain barrier. I don't really care who wins and loses and who am I to say what professional analysts cannot figure out...

But remember classic slick boxer versus pressure fighter is the "Brawl in Montreal", Duran was the shorter brawler, brawled and made it pretty ugly for 15 rounds and won a split decision against Ray Leonard... But I am open to expect anything really from a 1st round clash of heads and a no-contest verdict to a fun man landing on the ring in parachutes and interrupting the fight for half an hour...

    Yep.

Basically Hatton has to get it absolutley right to have any kind of chance, but he has an outside chance of winning.

He has to abandon certain punches and get his other tactics right exactly because of what you describe. But he has a chance.

Yeah I see him doing worse as well. I would pick a prime Castillo over Hatton anyday.

He does have a chance I give him about a 25% chance in this fight.

I give Hatton less of a chance then I gave DLH, and I didn't give DLH much of a chance. If this fight was in England I would give Hatton a small chance because they let him do anything he wants in the ring with immunity, but the fight is here, so I don't see how Hatton could possibly win. I will be excited if Cotto-Floyd ever happens, but this is just another fight for Floyd to claim how much of a God he is. :good

Yep that punch sets up excellent counter punching opportunities for PBF that he will take advantage of.

hattons punch and clutch style could prove the difference maker. he'd smother floyd's punches inside and wear him out with all the inside wrestling. if the ref tolerates that, then it's gonna be a competitive fight. not to mention hattons got pretty fast foot speed as well, and very good stamina which means he's gonna be in floyd's grill all night.

Hoping Floyds thinks that also...he'll be leaving feet first if he does.

I think that's about right actually, perhaps a little generous but not much.

I'd like to see Ricky abandon the left hook to the head for starters, his wildest punch. At least until round 10 or 11.

I still think Ricky will have some success early on in the fight because it will take PBF about 3 or 4 rounds before he fully figures him out. IMO he needs to go all out in these first 4 rounds because IMO that's his best chance. The fight will only get worse for him the longer it goes because PBF can figure out anyone and make them pay.

:good these so called analyst just dont know crap...You have to see what Hatton does..If you stand in front of hatton or if you are a come forward type of fighter you are making the fight easy for him. If Hatton has to give chase which I cant even remember seeing him chase a speed fighter..he will get caught coming in A la Floyd/Corrales fight...

the words duran and brawler do not belong in the same sentence.
