Does anyone else feel like Joshua vs. Klitschko will go very similar to Marciano Louis?
I feel like this is going to be a big night for Joshua, and also an emotional night for boxing fans. I can't see Klitschko lasting beyond round 8. He's going to show the heart of a champion, and it won't be enough to stop the onslaught...

Unlike Louis, I never liked Wlad. I hope AJ sends him into retirement with a bang!

I honestly think Wladimir is going to let his hands go from the start and hit Joshua harder than he's ever been hit early. I really can't see Wlad making the same mistake he made against Fury. Wladimir will have him gone by round 6. Bump this comment after the fight.

And wasn't Joe Louis 37 when Marciano demolished him? I mean yes Joe wasn't prime anymore... but LOL@ The Eddie Murphy Coming To America BS!! He wasn't THAT OLD! And he beat Walcott not long before Marciano. Still had skills and power.

Not long before? Try 3 and a half years! Louis had been fighting for 17 years,it isn't the age so much it's the mileage, He said his last great fight was against Mauriello that was in 46, 5 years before!
After his first retirement he was just a facsimile of the fighter he had been in the late 30's and early 40's . Joe was a relic when Marciano got him, his power and reflexes were gone, he just had the remnants of his jab.

Marciano did the job he had to do, but he never claimed he beat "The Brown Bomber,"he was too honest for that!

I like Joshua in this fight ,it comes at the right time for him factoring in Wlad's age and inactivity.
He matches up well in size and power, he's still untested , but Wlad looked dreadful against Fury. The key to this fight is jumping out quick, establishing the jab and looking to land something big early.Wlad wont get away with leaning and laying all over him in the UK and Joshua will be probably stronger inside.
We don't know how good Joshua's chin is , but we do know Wlad's is poor. The odds favour the younger, fresher man who has at least been fighting regularly. imo.

Wlad gave his best for sure against Fury, he lost purely on skill. Wlad 'letting his shots go' still gets embarrased by an in shape Fury. People claiming Wlad lost himself that fight rather than being soundly out-boxed are not being honest about the fight footage. If he fights the same against AJ he'll pummel him with the jab and win. Styles etc....

Louis was shot to bits man. Reflexes gone and he was fighting a prime atg. Fighters peak and decline at different ages.

Wouldn't surprise me, but I'm thinking more along the lines of Louis-Walcott.

Who has Joshua beat to warrant people thinking he's going to "Marciano/Louis" Klitschko?? Lol This is actually funny.

I think Louis was one of, if not the first big win for Marciano.

The main reason I draw the comparison is because I think the old champion will go out on his shield brutally against the younger champion.

Based on his 'fight' with Fury Wlad is beyond shot. More like Holmes -Ali than Marciano-Louis. Geriatric-bashing is nothing to be proud of.

Unlike Louis very few will feel bad if Wlad meets his end in April. Louis was one of the most well liked and revered champions in history, Wlad is detested or largely ignored by most boxing fans and is viewed for better or worse as the main antagonist for the decline in HW boxing.

Lol! My God... I am bumping this post after the 29th. Joshua will eat the hardest shots he's ever tasted very soon.
